The Larry Jordan Sr. Crisis Fund

The Northern Rodeo Association and Northern Women’s Rodeo Association created The Larry Jordan Sr. Crisis Fund to help NRA and NWRA cowboys and cowgirls who, in the unfortunate event, may need financial help due to injury or other misfortune.  The crisis fund was created in memory of Larry Jordan Sr in appreciation for preserving the Western Heritage Way of Life.  Larry and his wife, Helena, ranched for over 60 years in and near the Missouri River Breaks, north of Roy, Montana.  They were known far and wide for their Quarter and Paint horses throughout the country.  Larry passed away in 2001.

The NRA and NWRA are non-profit organizations that are governed by a Board of Directors.  They are funded through memberships, sponsorships and the NRA/NWRA Finals.  The NRA began in the early 1950’s in north central Montana.  The NWRA was formed in 1999.

Today we are a strong, progressive, and respected rodeo association with over 800 NRA and NWRA members.
